Arrival Story:
I adopted Suki from the Etowah Valley Humane in Cartersville, GA. She was found as a stray and the shelter was never able to find her owner so they put her up for adoption. When she got to the shelter, she was put in a foster home. There, she was still able to see a little bit, but lost her sight completely soon thereafter. I found her at and I just couldn't forget her profile. I finally went to Cartersville to meet her and I knew that she was THE ONE I was searching for. And as they say, the rest is history!

She is the sweetest little Peke I have ever known. Her manners are perfect...she is a real little lady. She has adjusted very well to losing her sight and has a wonderful outlook on life. She never complains. She is exteremly intelligent and understands every word I say to her. We are truly soul mates. She is the best dog I have ever owned. She is such a little sweetheart. The best two years of my life ended today. My little Suki Fu passed away at about 2 PM today after a short illness. We never were sure exactly how old she was or how her life was before the shelter found her. One vet said about 4 years, but another said she must be much older. But that didn't matter at all to me. I loved her very much and I am glad we found each other. She loved her sister, Teenie Sardini, and she will miss her as well. Suki is now the prettiest angel at the rainbow bridge and I know she will wait faithfully there for me. I am looking forward to that day when Suki and I will be reunited forever. I so miss her sweet little woo-woo Pekingese bark when I return home. I will await the day when I can again stroke your little head and when we meet again you will be able to see me too as you could not in this life. Until we meet again, Suki Fu, I will be thinking of you. You are not where you used to be, but you are now wherever we are.
