Amen! You hit the nail on the mother f*cking proverbial head.

People are gonna flock to entertainment, drugs, and alcohol if shit gets worse. That’s the nature of these times. Did no one hear about the roaring 20’s? Escapism through the film houses and juke joints?

The internet is contemporary times’ juke joint. Online is only going to get that much more attention as everything else goes down the shitter. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an influx of the unemployed moving to get into the “internets business” once mainstream media starts to realize how inexpensively we (designers and developers) can really build an app.

Damn, this reminds me I need to get cracking on the apps I’ve been meaning to do. Thanks Ted!
