Our fun-loving members decided to name the last week of January “Dogster & Catster Rocks Week.” It’s pretty epic. People are rockin’ out on their profile pages right and left.

The valley’s already overcrowded with self-congratulating stuart smalleys….it pains me to see your community’s giggles becoming the inspiration for your otherwise pragmatic posts. You’re still a business, right?
Haven’t we consistently stressed that community *is* our business.
If we aren’t eating the dog food around here, what would that say about our the longevity of our endeavors?
This entry was meant, however, to have a pragmatic side, as well as offer a light-hearted chuckle.
Instead of preparing an entry with formulas we use to determine our user engagement levels I chose to simply show a picture of exactly what to look for.
I didn’t mean to brag. Yet I have to concur that we do in fact rock.
When we started Dogster and Catster we never had any idea we could help so many dog and cat owners and guardians find their internet nirvana or just an answer to a quick question. Four years later it's as seriously fun as ever running Dogster, Inc., and being one of the largest pet destinations on the web.
