Wag Hotel SF Grand Opening

Pet Hoteliers Wag Hotels opened their second pet boarding center, store and spa in San Francisco Saturday, and it truly amazing. Growing up our dog used to run for the hills when he saw the luggage come out of storage. Now he’d probably beg to go to Wag. You might too when you see their facilities.

A year ago we visited their Sacramento hotel and knew they were truly worthy of advertising on our sites. Since then we have grown our businesses concurrently, by executing, extreme attention to detail and a knowledge that happy customers is job number one.

The San Francisco facility at 14th & Harrison is a four story wonder. From the pool, fitness and play rooms on the first floor, the large community room on the second and the rooms, suites on the 3rd and 4th floor. The “rooms” are private and the “suites” have dvd entertainment and 24 web cam so you can see your fluffy anytime from almost anywhere. The cattery offers complex spaces for kitties with a large fish tank for them to gaze upon. All pets get play time, meals prepared from choice foods or what you bring and can get grooming, massages and other petsonal attention. The turf grass-covered roof with views in all directions is my favorite. Finally their store is literally huge with more product then I’ve seen in any boutique style store ever.

As a long-time San Francisco resident, I’d like to also applaud Wag for a) turning a very junkie, unsafe strip of 14th St. into a handsome glass and brick facade and b) offering pet boarding in a very convenient location just off Division street, 101, and South Van Ness.

Congratulations to Ritu Raj and the whole Wag Hotels and Wag Services family

When are they opening a Wag hotel in Indy? We both want to take a dip in that pawsome pool! Cool slide show too!
