.Under The Radar? … No More!
UPDATE: We were voted BEST COMPANY in our category by both the judges and in the People’s Choice!

Today Dogster had the pleasure of presenting at IBDNetwork’s Under The Radar program to a roomfull of Silicon Valley financiers, technologists and reporters. The extended round of applause at the end really meant a lot to us. Even the Dogster dog came on stage with me which really cut my stage-fright ;> The final cherry was that one of the sagacious panelists, Kevin Efrusy, an investor in the massivley successful Facebook, said we were doing a great job, and another, David Tennenhouse, the CEO of Amazon’s A9.com, during the next presentation, asked if we could go back to reviewing Dogster! Even the moderator, Sean Wise, confided we’re doing a great jobWalking off the stage I couldn’t help but reflect back to the fact that Dogster was just a simple idea I decided to make a reality after realizing that people really enjoy sharing photos of their pets. Ever since the site became popular my goal has been to provide everything we can within our means while keeping everything safe, fund and warm. The fact that we’ve been able to make a business on top of that that in no way corrupts or interferes with the true passion and purpose of our sites is the most rewarding thing that has ever happened in my professional life.

It was a great event. We met a lot of great people and saw some interesting presentations. Very high energy.
Also, for the Dogster presentation, I got to wear the dog suit. Running on stage suffocating in that dog suit I saw myself tripping and taking out the whole computer presentation projection set up. Thankfully, that did not happen.
Wow! nice work guys… Sounds like not only fun, but very rewarding from a recognition standpoint. Silicon Valley financiers huh? I’ve got to imagine some of them are interested in the venture you guys have going? Sounds to me like it is going to get more and more difficult not to partner up with someone like that in the not-too-distant-future… Curious if anyone of them tried to network with you in that way or not?
